About
I help businesses grow.
Not with a channel, a tactic or a trend — with a marketing strategy that starts from the market and holds up when the numbers are checked.

Bhooshan Kanani · Founder
Marketing — now and ever.
I started Augmenting Times because too many good businesses were buying marketing in pieces. A logo here, a campaign there, a website that nobody measured. Each piece defensible on its own, and together adding up to nothing you could point at.
My work begins earlier than that. Who is the buyer, what makes them choose you, what does winning cost, and how will we know it worked. Once those are settled, decisions about channels get much easier — and much cheaper.
I work directly with the people who carry the decision, usually founders and business owners. That is deliberate. Marketing strategy that has to survive three layers of translation rarely survives at all.
Who I work with
Startups, SMEs, and businesses ready to scale
Startups
Finding the first channel that repeats. The job here is elimination — testing quickly and killing what does not work before the runway does.
SMEs
Marketing has outgrown one person doing it alongside their real job. The job is structure: a plan, a calendar, and numbers that get reviewed.
Established businesses
Ready to scale, franchise, or enter a new category. The job is positioning and a model that holds up when it is multiplied.
Strategy that connects. Marketing that converts.
The method
Seven steps, run as a loop
Marketing goes wrong when it starts at the campaign. We start at the market and work forward — then come back round, because the last step feeds the first.
- 01
Analyse market
We start with the market you actually sell into — its size, its buying cycles, and where demand is heading rather than where it has been.
- 02
Analyse competition
Who else is in the consideration set, what they claim, what they charge, and the ground they have left uncontested.
- 03
Marketing research
Primary and secondary research to replace assumptions with evidence — customer interviews, channel data, category benchmarks.
- 04
Define marketing mix
Product, pricing, placement and promotion decided together, so the channels we pick are the ones your buyers are already on.
- 05
Financial analysis
Every recommendation carries a cost and an expected return. We model both before committing spend, not after.
- 06
Review and revise
Campaigns are measured against the numbers we set at the start, and reworked on a fixed cadence instead of left to run.
- 07
Understand customers
What we learn feeds back into the next cycle. The method is a loop, not a checklist — which is why it compounds.

Let's talk about where your growth is stuck.
A short call is usually enough to tell whether there is a marketing problem worth solving — and whether we are the right people for it.
